Legal basis and scope of processing of personal data

Performance of contracts, provision of services. We need your personal data, such as your name, address, telephone number and, where applicable, email address, to perform the contract (e.g. an order for goods, the provision of a service, a complaint).

When you purchase through a financial company (a bank or leasing company), we need your personal data to provide the service through the financial company, and we also process a copy of the contract between you and the financial company.

Enquiries via the web form. We use the data you enter in the form (name, phone, email, company and message text) to reply to your enquiry and to prepare a quote. The enquiry is sent by email to the branch you select.

Advertising campaigns, marketing. We keep a record of your name, address, telephone number and email address in order to provide our services.

Legal obligations. When issuing invoices, we need your billing details to fulfil our legal obligation to keep records of tax documents.

Cookies

The containers.sk website does not use analytics or advertising cookies and does not store any cookies itself. Google Maps on the branch pages only load after you click “Show map”. At that point you connect to the Google Maps service, and the Google Privacy Policy applies. You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings.

Duration of processing of personal data

We need to keep your personal data for the duration of the contract so that we can provide our services to you. After the contract or the obligations arising from it have ended, we keep your data for the period required by the relevant legislation and thereafter in accordance with the generally applicable limitation periods.

Your rights and complaints

You have the right to contact our company at any time regarding the processing of your personal data if you believe that we are not handling your data in accordance with the law. You have the right to erasure, to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete personal data, to restriction of processing, the right to object and the right to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic.

Please share this information with any other persons you have named in the contract or during its term, as we also process their personal data for the purposes of your contract.
